The Spirit Bears are inspired by the animals, ocean and mountains of the Pacific Northwest. The mountains of the region, the Olympics, Cascades, and the British Columbia Coast Range, are comprised of coastal rainforest, inlets and sounds that are home to some of the world’s most magical species, including spirit bears, orcas, and salmon.
Spirit bears are extremely rare black bears with white or creamy fur and brown eyes which live along British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest - it is estimated only 100 exist in the world. Three types of Orcas, transient, offshore, and resident, live in the Pacific Northwest waters. Apex predators known as the sea wolf, orcas tend to live and hunt in packs to subdue larger prey. Five types of Pacific Salmon exist - the King, Sockeye, Coho, Pink, and Chum - which frequent the the oceans and rivers of the region.
The Spirit Bears brings this fusion of mountains, waterways and their most special inhabitants to life to fuel your adventures in the region.
